As my friend, Jodi and I counter-hopped through the cosmetic section of Saks during her personal makeup shopping extravaganza, we stumbled upon the Christian Dior section, where we met two lovely ladies who introduced us to the hottest colors for Spring.
Audrey, Dior’s Resident Beauty Specialist and Carolyn, a Regional Artist for Dior, blogger and fellow DC area makeup artist, walked us through some amazing products and I was immediately hooked on Dior!

I’ll share with you a list of my Dior "adorations," and must-haves for the season:

Shimmer it Up for Spring!
Voyage Nude Tan Golden Shimmer Powder Transatlantique Edition – this is an amazing highlighter that I saw on Audrey and immediately asked, “what are you wearing?” It comes with an awesome brush that I would have bought on its own. After later research, I found out that Anna Kendrick was highlighted with this product for the Oscars. This highlighter was amazing, a perfect way to add some radiance at the end of this long, dreary winter.

Go Ahead, Give Them Some Lip!

Rouge Dior Couture Colour & Voluptuous Care Lipstick in Sunset (#660) – One other thing I noticed right off the bat was Audrey’s lipstick.  It was a beautiful stain-like color, with a warm hint of sunny goodness to brighten up for Spring.  Although it appears that it would be super bright reddish-orange, it’s a nice subtle color, and great for someone who is wading into warm red lip tones, and for anyone who is fairer in complexion.

Rouge Dior Lipstick in #361 in Rose Baiser – a beautiful soft pink that works well for all skin types, and the perfect tone for someone who is working their way into lipstick, like my friend Jodi, who rarely wears lip color. Plus, check out this hot color, recently spotted on Natalie Portman!

Rouge Dior Lipstick #988 in Rialto – on first glance, I thought this lipstick was going to turn out looking like

Great lip color for Spring in #988, Rialto

a dark berry, but when I applied it, I was surprised to see that in application, it was much lighter and shows up more like a berry stain, which is perfect when paired with metallic or pastel eyes. Berry lips are also a hot trend for the season, and a must have for all skin tones.

Last but not least, my new favorite eye product!

Long-lasting, perfect eye color for Spring for that sunkist look in Diorshow Fusion Mono Eye Shadow in Meteore

Diorshow Fusion Mono Eye Shadow in Meteore – I am obsessed with this eye shadow.  It is a long-lasting formula that can go on dry, or you can apply with a wet brush if you want to glam it up with more intensity.  I’ve been sporting this almost daily and I’m so pleased with how easy it goes on, and how well it stays.

My friend Jodi and I had an amazing time with Audrey and Caroline at the Dior counter.  Although I am a traditionally a Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier gal, Dior shed some new light, radiance, and color on our faces and hearts. I’m hooked and I too…Adore, Dior!

At the conclusion of our personal makeup shopping extravaganza, we walked away with a spring in our step, and the hottest Spring trends in our Saks shopping bags.
