A thing of beauty is a joy forever: its loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness.

- John Keats

Julie (Hussion) Wardley was a born makeup aficionado. Alongside her childhood friend, Kimberly “Page” Whetsell, the pair frustrated family members through their teen and young adult years, piddling with mascaras, eye shadows and lip glosses before arriving “fashionably” late to family gatherings. In fact, Page was the first and last person who let Julie cut her hair – without a wink of hair training. But the makeup artistry continued on!

After a lifelong journey together in laughs, fashion, makeup and sisterhood, Page passed away in 2005, due to complications with cystic fibrosis. Page's spirit shines in the life of those who knew and loved her, and the memories she and Julie shared continue in the fun and artistry that is Julie Page Makeup Artists. The name is a tribute to their laughs, memories, homegrown plays and productions, and of course, their love of hair and makeup.
